Pot Up Snowdrops

The woods and orchard are flooded with snowdrops at the moment. Three years ago, we planted out hundreds of bulbs and now we are reaping the rewards. It looks so beautiful. 

I wanted to bring this much needed flurry of joy into the house, so I decided to dig up a few and pot them up to have inside. 

Using a trowel, you just carefully lift the roots (bulbs) and plant them in a pot with good drainage. They need to live in a cool, bright spot once indoors. Replant them back outside once they fade, so they will be back again next year!
